Commercial Lines Account Representative

Well established independent insurance agency seeking a qualified professional to join our team. The position of Commercial Lines Customer Service Assistant would include assisting account managers with their renewals, endorsements and policy billing.

Responsibilities include: Working closely with account managers and their clients, provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service. This would include working with underwriters, policy changes, submitting claims, billing inquiries, maintain accurate information in agency database.

Requirements: Candidate should be enthusiastic, organized, self- motivated and have the ability to multi-task and work in a team environment. Proficient in Excel and Agency Management Systems. Minimum one year experience in Commercial Lines. Property & Casualty License is not required- salary based on experience. Benefits include fully paid health care, 401k, flexible PTO, paid holidays. This position is not remote.

Customer Service Assistant

Insurance agency looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team. This position requires a bilingual front office receptionist and customer service assistant. As the front-line face of our office, the CSA is the first Strickler employee to greet our customers. We must not forget that you also are in the background every day keeping the office humming.  Whether it’s mail or spreadsheets, or simply just being there when we need you, your role is equally as important as everyone else in the office.

Experience:

  • Bilingual (required)
  • Customer Service (1 year – preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Personal Time Management & Prioritization Skills
  • Strong Computer Skills

Responsibilities:

  • Will handle mail, incoming calls, customer payments, inquiries, and routing items to correct departments and individuals.
  • Greet clients in the office
  • Answer all incoming phone calls and direct to correct Agent or CSR
  • Process payments for Personal and Commercial clients
  • Assist clients and agents with billing questions/issues as they arise
  • Create & distribute ID Cards, EPIs, Declaration Pages via email, fax, mail, etc.
  • Process all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintain/reconcile cash drawer daily
  • Process Mortgagee/Lienholder Changes
  • Document claims in AMS as received from carriers
  • Translate for all Spanish-speaking clientele
  • Assist Personal Lines Manager with carrier audits
  • Maintain Personal Lines cancellations on a semi-monthly basis
