Business Of The Month: Lebanon Valley Family YMCA

How many things can you do at the Lebanon Valley Family YMCA.  It takes a 16 page brochure to elaborate on all the wonderful programs that are available for your enjoyment or discovery.  Did you ever hear about or want to try the Circuit Express, the Cycle Lite, the Hip Hop N’ Groove, Kickboxing, Pilates, Pump extreme, Turbo kick, Step N’ Sculpt, Yoga, Fencing, Zumba, or Badminton? Would you rather just swim, water exercise, jog, play basketball/racquetball, or gymnastics?  Can you sense just how much better your going to feel after getting involved with just one of the many programs that  are available and there is always a friendly person to help with your questions.  I am happy to say that Strickler Insurance Agency has 7 Y memberships.

This summer, the Y has two big events to help with the Campaign for Kids program and the Y hopes you will join them.  The “Evening at the Mansions” will be held on Friday the 14th of August.  It is an exceptional evening at 2 exceptional Lebanon houses.  The golf outing will be held at Fairview golf course on Thursday the 27th of August.  Get your foursome together for this fun outing.  Both events will give you a chance to help the Y make a difference with their youth programs.  Also, you will get a chance to catch up with some people you probably haven’t seen all summer.  For questions, call the Y directly at 717-273-2691.

Since 1902, the Lebanon Valley Family YMCA has provided a safe and caring environment, positive role models, creative activities, and opportunities to serve the needs of others.  These are the essential building blocks for strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.   The Y is the better alternative for your fitness program.

Tips From Your #1 Protection Team

Did you know that you only have 14 days to notify your insurance carrier of a vehicle addition/change if you desire full coverage on the new vehicle. You only have 4 days to notify your car insurance carrier of a vehicle addition/change if you only want liability coverage.

If you own a vehicle that is registered but not insured, an accident involving any other insured vehicle you own could be denied. Liability coverage must be maintained as long as a vehicle is registered.

Event Happening In The Strickler Family

We are proud to announce that our intern, Tithi Patel, has graduated from Lebanon High. Tithi did her senior year at the career and technology center and is now a Certified Nurses’ Assistant. She received a medal for being on the honor roll and maintaining a GPA above 3.25.  Among her many accomplishments, Tithi was also a Rotary student of the month and received an award from the Good Samaritan Hospital for outstanding clinical performance and for being the best in her class. Tithi will be attending Lock Haven University in August of 2009 with aspirations in becoming a Physicians’ Assistant. Congratulation Tithi and good luck in all you do!
